Speak freely.
Nothing is kept.
Private voice and video calls for professionals and the people they serve: therapists, lawyers, doctors, advisers and their clients. Clients join from a link in their browser. No accounts, no phone numbers, no call records on our servers.
Android, Windows, Linux and any modern browser
Built to know as little as possible
The parts that make a call work, and nothing else.
End-to-end encrypted
Audio and video go straight between the two devices, encrypted. A safety number lets you check that nobody is in between.
Clients join with a link
Send a link. Your client opens it in any browser, checks camera and microphone, and waits until you let them in.
Nothing stored on servers
No accounts, no database. The server only connects calls, in memory. Contacts and history stay on your device, encrypted.
Hide your IP address
Turn it on and calls go through the relay, so the other person never sees where you are connecting from.
Holds on weak networks
Calls reconnect when the network changes, adapt to a slow connection, and drop to voice rather than freeze.
Your own server, if you like
Organisations can run Sotto on their own server with one command, and point the apps at it.
How it works
Set up in a minute; your clients need nothing at all.
Install Sotto
On your phone or computer, or use it in the browser. Enter your name: no sign-up.
Share your link
Send a guest link to a client, or your contact link to a colleague.
Talk privately
They knock, you let them in. The call is encrypted from end to end and leaves no record on the server.
Download
Always the latest version. Each release lists SHA-256 checksums and the Android signing certificate.
Windows may warn about an unknown publisher until the app is code-signed: choose “More info”, then “Run anyway”. All releases: github.com/rbr48/sotto/releases.
Privacy, plainly
What happens to your information, without the small print.
